JAMES T. “JIM” BALL, 86, passed away on June 26, 2011.
He was a retired 1st Lieutenant with the U. S. Army where he served in WW II and Korea, a member of the Masonic Valley Lodge 511, Scottish Rite, Kosair Shrine, and a Ky. Colonel.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Ball and his grandson, Chris Ball.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Hannelore “Hanna” Ball; children, Barbara Gahafer (Louis) and Thomas A. Ball (Val); grandchildren, Michelle Cook (Deano), Michael Gahafer (April), Annette Donley, Heather Ball, Julie Johnson, and Tammy Bazemore; eight great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, Ky.
Visitation will be from 3 – 8 p.m. Tuesday.
