Obituary

Concetto “Jack” Gattinella age 80 of Windham, NH, died Friday at the Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill, MA.

He was born in Lawrence, MA, where he grew up and attended schools, and graduated from Lawrence High School. He later graduated from U-Mass in Amherst, MA. He was a resident of Windham for the past 48 years, formerly of Methuen, MA.

Jack was an Engineer for Raytheon Corporation in Andover, MA. He was a member of St. Matthew’s Parish in Windham, NH. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving as a communications officer in the US Air Force. Jack was active in town politics in Windham, where he served on the Board of Adjustment and Planning Board, and was awarded “Volunteer of the Year”. He enjoyed gardening, but most of all he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife: Rosalie (Goolkasian) Gattinella of Windham, NH

Sons: Peter & his wife Wendy Gattinella of Kingston, NH
Jack & his wife Dana Gattinella of Windham, NH

Daughters: Ann Marie Vallee of Manchester, NH
Leanne & her husband Nathan DeCotis of Windham, NH

Grandchildren: Matthew, Braydan, Arianna, Sienna, & Gianna

Great Granddaughter: Leah

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, June 27th at 11 AM at St. Matthew’s Church, Windham, NH. Burial will follow in Cemetery on the Plain, Windham, NH

Calling hours will be Sunday, June 26th from 5-8 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
