Barbara M. (Saindon) Young, of Eliot, ME, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, surrounded by her family. She was 71 years old. Barbara was born in Limerick, ME in 1939, grew up in Bar Mills and graduated from Buxton High School, Class of 1957. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved walking, working outside, and reading. She is survived by her children, Stacey Doherty and her husband, Robert of Wareham, MA; Dave Young and his wife, Dayna, of Allen, TX; Lisa Roe and her husband, David, of Carver, MA; Scott Young and his wife, Charlene, of Steep Falls, ME; and James Young of Eliot, ME; her grandchildren, Jodi, Jessica, Joseph, Kellie, Katie, Cory, Charles, Sean, Raegan, Daniel, and Ryan; her great-grandchildren, Hailee and Brodie; her siblings, Robert Dall and his wife, Margaret, of Limerick, ME, Richard Geary and his wife, Margaret, of Seattle, WA, Beryl Croshaw and her husband, John, of Melrose, MA, Beverly Voigt of Loxahatchee, FL, Brenda McManus and her husband, David of Lyman, ME, Bonita Usher and her husband Ron of Buxton, ME, and her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Lorna M. (Dall) and Theodore N. Saindon and her brother Theodore N. Saindon, Jr. A private family memorial is scheduled.
