
Mrs. Eleanor E. Cook, age 93 of Sagamore Beach, died Tuesday in the Tobey Hospital in Wareham. She was the wife of the late Harold Cook and the dear friend of Donald Perry of NH.
Born in Medford, daughter of the late John and Paoline (Faga) Pellegrino, she is a graduate of Medford High School, class of 1936. She remained a Medford resident for most of her life.
She was a resident of Bourne and a former resident of both Burlington and Concord NH. She loved to cook and work in the garden. An unusually handy woman, she assisted in the construction of 3 homes with her husband. She is survived by a daughter Elizabeth L. DiMilla and her husband Vincent of Sagamore Beach, a son Harold W. Cook and his wife Alexandra of South Tamworth, NH. Loving grandmother of 6 grand and 6 great grandchilderen. She also leaves three sisters Mary Manning of Lynnfield, Angela Bursey of Billerica, Virginia Burnet of Lexington, two brothers: Frank Pellegrino of TX. and C. John Pellegrino of CA. Sister of the late Victoria O'Connell, Esther Cammarata, Pauline Fontas, Jeanette Angrisano and Elizabeth Orlando. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main Street, Medford on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral mass in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 to 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
