Obituary

Mr. Thomas Ray McGlothlin, age 63, of Pinnacle, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2011 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. He was born on July 7, 1947 in Mercer County, West Virginia to the late Conley Jr. and Geneva Flowers McGlothlin. Mr. McGlothlin worked for Virginia Foods in Bluefield, VA. Mr. McGlothlin is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Rose McGlothlin; two children, Thomas McGlothlin Jr. of Princeton, W. Va and Cheri Kiger and husband Reggie of Pinnacle; five step-children, Gary Keller of VA, Ray Keller and wife April of King, Peggy Williams of Atlanta, Ga., Brenda Osborne and husband Kevin of Pinnacle, Tracy Keller of Pinnacle; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rita Lewis of Peterstown, W. Va, Phyllis Mundy of Bluefield, W. Va, Connie Williams and husband Herbert of Bluefield, W. Va; one sister-in-law, Suzie McGlothlin of Bluefield, W. Va; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Morgan Lee McGlothlin; and two brother-in-laws, Earl Mundy and Lee Lewis. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Cox-Needham Chapel at 4:00 P.M. with the Chaplin Stewart Roten officiating with interment to follow at the Old Friends Union church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 till 4:00 PM prior to the service. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC and a special thanks to all fami0qaly and friends who helped sit with him.
