Obituary

WORCESTER___Frank J. Wychorski, 78, of 69 Heywood St., died Monday Feb. 2 in St. Vincent Hospital.

He leaves his wife of 56 years, Jessie C. (Jankowski) Wychorski; three sons, Philip F. Wychorski of Hilton, N.Y., Paul F. Wychorski of Spencer and Steven F. Wychorski of Somerville; two daughters, Nancy M. Wychorski of Orange and Frances A. Wychorski of Leicester; a sister, Claire Holden of Millbury; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Frank J. and Stella (Czesnolewicz) Wychorski and lived here all his life.

Mr. Wychorski was a buyer 5 years for Spag’s Supply Co., in Shrewsbury and retired in 1993. Before then he was a foreman 36 years for the Eli Sandman Co. He was graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and served in the Asiatic – Pacific theater.

Mr. Wychorski was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, gardener and antiquer.

The funeral will be held on Friday Feb. 6 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be private in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be Friday Feb. 6 from 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
