Clifford A. Diniz, age 62, of Berkley, passed away June 20, 2011. He was the husband of the late Deborah (DeCambra) Diniz and the son of Alice E. (Grillo) Diniz of Somerset and the late Manuel F. Diniz Jr. Prior to retiring in 2009; Clifford worked for 20+ years in Environmental Services at Morton Hospital, Taunton. He was a member of the V.F.W. Men’s Auxiliary Post 486 Bedford St. and a parishioner of St. Bernard’s Church, Assonet.
Cliff was the father of Michael A. Diniz of Berkley and Douglas A. Diniz of Fall River; the brother of Manuel F. Diniz III (wife Rosemary) and Alice E. Gut (husband Raymond) all of Somerset; grandfather of Brianna J. Diniz of Taunton; and uncle to Tracey & Crystal.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on FRIDAY at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernard’s Church, Assonet at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Somerset.
