Haverhill, Ma. – Elaine J. Harvey, 54, formerly of Methuen, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington after a long illness. Elaine was born in Lawrence and was a graduate of Tenney High School class of “1974” in Methuen, Ma. She worked at the I.R.S. in Methuen for 22 ½ years where she received awards for her outstanding service and was loved by her co-workers.
In past years, Elaine enjoyed drawing, cooking, sewing, and gardening with her late mother Santella. She loved going to Jenness Beach with her sister Debbie. She was a supporter of the MSPCA, especially for the smaller, older dogs given up for adoption.
Elaine is survived by her father Louis T. Harvey of Orlando, FL, her sister Debra M, Harvey of Bradford, MA, her brother Roger Harvey and his wife Linda, her nephew Dana Harvey and his wife Lisa of Manchester, NH, her niece Jessica DeMayo and her husband Timothy of Hooksett, NH, and several aunts, uncles and cousins, and her beloved dog Keesha. She was also the daughter of the late Santella (Bastianelli)
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made to the MSPCA 400 Broadway Methuen, MA 01844. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 2:00p.m. – 4:00p.m. and 6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00a.m. in St. Mary’s Church in Lawrence with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, M
