Manchester– Bertrand J. Lambert, 73, died June 17, 2011 at Elliot Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born in La Patrie, PQ. Canada, on March 31, 1938 the son of Gerard and Marie Anna (Senay) Lambert.
Prior to his retirement he had worked for the Caron Box Company.
Before moving to the U.S. he served in the Canadian military.
He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, exploring nature and trips to the white mountains.
He was predeceased by a son Andre Lambert in 2009.
Family members include his wife of 48 years, Murielle (Duval) Lambert of Manchester, two daughters, Claudette T. Lambert, Diane M. Lambert, both of Manchester, six grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, two brothers, Florian Lambert of Minnesota, Fernand Lambert of Canada, four sisters, Marthe Lambert, Imelda Dostie, Rita Cote, and Anita Brisson all of Canada, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
