Mr. Luke Nathaniel Shelton, age 26, of Westfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. He was born on April 2, 1985 in Surry County. He worked many jobs in the construction business. Luke is survived by his mother, Sandara Shelton; his father, Tommy Ashburn; one brother, Danny Rain Mitchell; and several other family members who will love and miss him dearly. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 20, 2011 at Dan River Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Terry Collins officiating with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 till 2:00 PM prior to the service at Dan River Baptist Church.
