Virginia (Pasquali) D’Amelio 94, a longtime Franklin resident, died Thursday June 16, 2011 at the Franklin Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Samuel F. D’Amelio, who died in 1973.
Born in Salem, MA, March 2, 1917 a daughter of the late Frank and Maria (Villante) Pasquali, she was raised and educated in Woonsocket, and lived there until 1941 when she moved to Franklin.
She was a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens, and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church.
She is survived by 2 sons; Raymond A. D’Amelio of Franklin, Robert J. D’Amelio of Watertown, MA, a daughter Patrice Marie D’Amelio of Blackstone, 2 brothers; Albert Pasquali of RI, Frank Pasquali, Jr., of the Philippines, and a sister Emelia DeBaggis of Franklin, and 2 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.
She is also the sister of the late Rose Pasquali, and Josephine Des’Noyers & John D. Pasquali.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Monday June 20th, at 9:45AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. FRANKLIN, with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. at 10AM.
Interment will follow in the family lot at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 8:30-9:30AM.
