Preceded in death by his wife, Theodosia Tanksley Painter survived by his sons, Ray (Dot), Billy (Sandy) and Spurt Goddard (Moody) his daughters, Prissy Campbell (Harvey), Kaye Spence and The late Robert, Sue Williams (Junior) and Karen Witty Grandchildren and Great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10am Monday, June 20, 2011 from Ellis Funeral Home with Jamie Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pm Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19, 2011 and Monday until service time.
