Beloved Husband, Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa Passed away on June 13, 2011. Age 85 of North St. Paul. Preceded in death by son Joseph and brother Bernard. Survived by wife of 62 years Severina "Sev"; children, Barb Heinz (Mike), Bill (Karen), Jack (Patti), Rick (Julie), Mary Armendariz (Eddie), Mark (Rachel) and Annette Asfaw (Tam); 19 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and sister Valerie Cilley. Dick was a longtime businessman and involved community member, was a WWII and Korean War veteran and enjoyed the sport of boxing. He spent 30 years trying to "green up" New Mexico. Dick's love of yardwork won him Yard of the Year. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday (6/21) at 10:30 AM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 Margaret Street, North St. Paul. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Monday from 5-8:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Avenue, North St. Paul and 1/2 hour before the Mass on Tuesday at church. 651-777-2600
