Mrs. Monica M. (Richter) Sachs, 81, a lifelong resident of Lawrence passed away on Wednesday, June 15th, 2011 at the Mary Immaculate Health/Care Services in Lawrence.
She was born on August 10th, 1929 in Lawrence to the late William and Margaret (Hoehn) Richter. Monica was educated in the local schools and was an attendant of Saint Monica's Church in Methuen.
She summered at her lake house and was a member of the Chases Grove Association for many years where she and her family spent many wonderful years at her cottage on Big Island Pond. Monica had a great love for animals.
Wife of the late Richard A. Sachs, who were married for 46 years.
Her family includes her son William Sachs of Lawrence, MA.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 20th, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Monica's Church in Methuen, MA.
Burial will follow in the Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
