Thomas DeFusco, 85, a resident of Lawrence, MA., passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill. Born in Lawrence, Thomas was educated in the Lawrence Schools, and had worked as a self employed Accountant. He was a W.W.II Veteran having served in the United States Army. He had been an attendant of St. Mary the Assumption Church in Lawrence as well as a member of the V.F.W. and other various Veteran's organizations.
The son of the late Marguerite (Volinino) and Vincent DeFusco as well as brother to the late Albert DeFusco and Carmella Pappalardo, survivors include:
a sister: Ella Champy as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA. A burial will follow in the Veteran's lot at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, also in Lawrence. Family and friends are invited to call prior to the service on Friday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
