James Allen Hall 73, of Louisville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday June 13, 2011. He was born April 14, 1938 in Hart County, Kentucky. He was a member of Valley View Church. He was a builder and property developer in Louisville for over 45 years. He was an amazing father, grandfather, brother and friend. He touched the lives of so many and will forever be loved and missed. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Hall, mother Flora Lee Hall, step-father Wilbur Hall, brother Bill Hall, sister Daisy, step-Glen Hall and the mother of his children Alice Hall. He leaves behind 3 children; Sheila Friess (Danny), Rick A. Hall, Scott A. Hall (Summer). 7 grandchildren; Adam, Andrew,Taylor, Matthew, Sophie, Sadie and Allie Grace. Step-siblings; Donny Priddy, Mike Hall, Susie Martin and Brenda Cottrell. His funeral will be 11 am Thursday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation Wednesday 3 pm to 8 pm. Expressions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
