Norman G. Delaney, 76, of Salem, NH died Sat., June 11th at Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, MA.
Norman was born and raised in Waltham, MA the son of the late Lillian (LeBlanc) and Hector Delaney. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from Merrimack Optical and Dr. Kellan’s where he was an optician.
Norman was a member of the Salem VFW Post #8546 and Derry Salem Elks where he was on the pool league. He was a musician and singer and played the guitar and enjoyed country and bluegrass music and played in his bands, the Rainbow Valley Boys and the Country Awards. He enjoyed fishing and he loved wintering in Florida. Norman was predeceased by his grandson Justin Delaney.

8 Grandchildren: Matthew, Vanessa, Danielle, Lauren, Kevin, Jake, Sara and Keara
He will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law, brothers-in law and their families.
Calling hours will be Wed., June 15th from 4-8 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
The Funeral Services will be Thursday at 10AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
