Obituary

NATICK: Francis E. “Frank” Procum, 81, died peacefully on Wednesday June 8, 2011 at the Riverbend Nursing Home following a period of declining health.
He was born in Jamaica Plain on May 13, 1930 the son of the late Francis W. Procum and Alma Mary (Stein) Procum.
Mr. Procum is survived by his wife Barbara (Eaton) Procum of Natick. Father of Kim Procum of Natick, Janice Robbins and her husband Carey of Oregon and Scott Procum and his wife Frances of New Hampshire. Also survived by 3 grandchildren.
Mr. Procum has resided in Natick for over 56 years and spent his formative years in Jamaica Plain. He served his country proudly as a Lance Corporal with the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He retired after a long career as a Microwave Engineer with the Microwave Development Lab of Needham formerly of Natick. He volunteered for 56 years with the Boy Scouts of America with Natick Troop #2 and Troop # 1775. He also volunteered for the U. S. Geological Services and was an active member of the Marie Corps League of Natick.
Visitations will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM ONLY at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Cochituate Village, Wayland. His funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 7:30 PM.
Private family interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers gifts in Mr. Francis Procum’s memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
