ROCKINGHAM: Ms. Frances Jordan Geffers, 80, formerly of Rockingham, died Thursday, June 9, 2011 in Kingswood Nursing Center in Aberdeen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 on Monday, June 13, in Sweet Haven Church with Pastor Mitchell Roller officiating. Burial will be private.
Ms. Geffers was born in Richmond County on February 21, 1931, daughter of the late Homer and Cleo Lee Jordan. Prior to her retirement she worked as a certified nursing assistant and had been a member of Pee Dee Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, J.T., Tommy, and Johnny Jordan, and a sister, Alice Faye Mishoe.
She is survived by a brother, Robert Jordan of Wisconsin; and a sister-in-law Shelba Jordan of Asheboro.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11-12:00 on Monday at Sweet Haven Church.
