Nancy M. Cove, 80, of Slater Estates, a retired stitcher, died Thursday, June 9, 2011 at UMass Hospital in Worcester.
She was predeceased by her two sisters, Grace (Cove) Bazinet-Sailer, Louise (Cove) Szafara, and brother Charles S. Cove. She leaves many nieces and nephews who will long remember her special family ways. She was a life long Red Sox fan and enjoyed many home games with her nephews and nieces. She enjoyed bus tours, family trips to South Carolina and Georgia to visit with her grand nephew Benjamin, and had the pleasure of traveling to Switzerland with one of her many nephews. She especially enjoyed boat rides on Webster Lake. She was a member of St. Louis Church and enjoyed being on several bowling leagues in her working life and early retirement.
Nancy was born in Webster the daughter of John W. and Theresa (Kosak) Cove, and graduated from Bartlett High School in 1949. She retired from B&W Footwear Company where she was an accomplished stitcher.
The Funeral for Nancy will be Monday, June 13, 2011 with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Louis Church, 16 Lake St. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Dudley.
Calling Hours for Nancy will be Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 4 to 6 PM at the Robert J. Miller Funeral Home and Lake Chapel, 366 School St.,Webster.
