Winston Shelton Paulk, age 67, Ambrose, GA passed away suddenly from injuries following an auto/train accident in Irwin County on June 6, 2011. Mr. Paulk was born on November 20, 1943 to the late Shelton and Irene Paulk. He was a retired mail carrier for the US Postal Service and he attended Ambrose Christian Church. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in New Hope Baptist Church with interment following in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include: wife: Doralyn Daniel Paulk, Ambrose, GA; son: Daniel (Michele) Paulk, Ambrose, GA; 3 grandchildren; sister: Melinda Maxheimer, Richmond Hill, GA; special friend: Antonio Najera, Ambrose, GA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
