Obituary

Anthony F. “Tony” Correnti, 85 of Medford, died Tuesday after a brief illness in the Courtyard Nursing Care Center, Medford, MA.

Born in Boston, he lived in Medford for the past 23 years and formerly of Somerville. He was the son of the late Mary (Barletta) and Angelo Correnti. Tony was the former proprietor of Brothers Cleaning in Somerville for many years and retired at age 65. He served during World War II in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946.

Beloved husband of the late Santina (Egitto) Correnti. Devoted father of Maria Dennen and her late husband Noah of North Reading, Angelo Correnti and his wife Donna of Brookline. Also survived by 6 loving grandchildren and 1 loving great grandchild. Brother of Angela Faiella of Winthrop, and the late William Correnti.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford Thursday
at 11 AM.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visiting hours have respectfully been omitted.

Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in Anthony’s name to the Homeless Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, MA 02108.
