Obituary

LENEXA, KS—Yolanda B. “Lanny” (Pichierri) Mycue 92, of Lenexa, died peacefully, at home Sunday June 5, 2011 following an illness. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Mycue who died in 1991.
Born December 7, 1918 in Franklin, a daughter of the late Arthur and Filomena (Faenza) Pichierri, she had resided in Franklin for many years before moving to Quincy and had been in Kansas for the past year.
She was raised and educated in Franklin schools, and until her retirement, worked as a research analyst for Raytheon.
Mrs. Mycue enjoyed cooking, baking, all the New England sports teams, traveling and spending time with her family and was a devout catholic.
Although having no children of her own, she is survived by her many nieces and nephews. She shared a special bond with; Fred Sullivan, Paula Whalen, Ann Steeves, Carol Carpentier, and Pat Wasoka with whom she lived with for the past 15 years.
She was also looked to as “Grammie” by Lindsay, Kim, and Brian Carpentier, & Jaime and Dan Wasoka.
She was the sister of the late Alfred Pichierri, Ida Sullivan, Rose Kulibaba, Vera Steeves and Louis Pichierri and aunt of the late Carol A. Capodiferro.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Saturday June 11th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. FRANKLIN www.oterifuneralhome.com., with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. at 10AM.
Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Calling hours are Friday from 5-8PM.
