Robert C. McIlroy, age 60, of Fall River, passed away June 5, 2011. He was the husband of the late Mary G. McIlroy and the son of the late Robert L. & Theresa McIlroy. He was a self-employed carpenter, and a Hawker for the Herald News at the Globe Four Corners. He was a US Marine Corp veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the Knights of Columbus, & an avid outdoorsman.
He is survived by 3 step children: Adeline Ferreira, Leonard Starcher, & Donna Briand all of Fall River; 4 siblings: Debora Lanning of Temple, TX, Sheila McIlroy & Christopher McIlroy both of Fall River, June Teasdale of Tiverton, several grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. THURSDAY at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 9:00 A.M.
