Linda A. (Ford) Lundin, 65 years, of Brockton, died June 6, 2011 at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital following a brief illness. Born and raised in Brockton she was the daughter of the late Edmund C. Jr. and Eleanor P. (O’Connor) Ford. Linda was a graduate of Brockton High School, Wheelock College and UMass Boston. She was a licensed Social Worker who had been employed by Brockton Head Start as a family worker and advocate for children and families; Director of the Brockton Multi Service Center and retired as the Site Director of Plymouth Area Office of the Department of Mental Health. She was also a consultant for the Brockton Housing Authority.
Linda is survived by her daughters Kimberly A. Lundin of Rockland, Tracy M. Lundin and Lisa J. Lundin both of Brockton, a sister Susan J. Martin and her husband John of Mashpee, and James D. Ford and his wife Julie of Jacksonville, FL, many nieces and nephews and longtime best friends Marjorie B. Sullivan and Charles Perrotta. She was the mother of the late Timothy R. Lundin and sister of the late Sandra Dickinson
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday 5-8pm in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton. Funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Thursday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
