Frankie LaRue Goodwin Turk Moreth, 98, of Orlando, Florida died Monday, June 6, 2011, in Kissimmee, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2011, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Mitchell Johns will officiate with burial to follow in Hickory Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 9, 2011, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Moreth was born on January 29, 1913 in Ty Ty and was the daughter of J. A. Goodwin and Reece C. Whiddon, both deceased. She was a retired meat cutter.
Mrs. Moreth is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Harold C. and JoAnn Turk of Loughman, Florida; one daughter, Judy L. Wooten of Orlando, Florida; two grandchildren, Wayne and Carla; and four great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Spencer, Bailey and Amanda.
