Obituary

Derry, NH – Ellen J. (Hepworth) Robinson, Howarth – 79, died June 3, 2011 at the Parkland Medical Center.
Ellen was born in Lawrence, Ma. July 11, 1931 the daughter of Arthur and Charlotte (Gilcrest) Hepworth.
Before moving to Derry she was a former resident of Methuen and Barnstead, NH and was a graduate of the Edward F. Searles High School class of 1950.
For many years Ellen was employed by the Andover Companies prior to her retirement.
Ellen enjoyed sewing, and quilting, and was actively involved with her husband “Rocky” at the Bektash Shriners of Concord, NH. Ellen and her husband Donald enjoyed spending their winters in Florida.
During the Korean War she served her country in the United States Navy Waves prior to being honorably discharged.
Ellen was formerly married to Henry J. Robinson prior to his death in 1965. She is survived by her husband Donald E. Howarth.
Survivors also include children, Lori M. Robinson and her companion Kevin Caparella of Livonia, Michigan, David J. Robinson of Lebanon, Oregon, Gary T. Robinson of Derry, NH, Jane Anzalone and her husband Richard of Raymond, NH, 2 step-children Donald Howarth and his wife Terrie of Denver, Co. and Deborah Cardone of Parsonsfield, Maine, 4 grandchildren Nathan Howarth, Daniel Anzalone, Alison Anzalone, and Candice Robinson, 1 sister Peggy Ann Hoffman of Oregon and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be warmly received on Thursday morning from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock in Saint Monica’s Church with burial to follow in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery in East Chelmsford.
