Mildred "Pat" (O’Leary) Clifford, 83, of Walpole died June 6 at her home. She was the wife of the late James F. Clifford who died in 2001.
Born in Jamaica plain, December 24, 1927, the daughter of the late Michael and Mildred (Tilden) O’Leary, Mrs. Clifford had lived in Walpole since 1995.
Mrs. Clifford had worked in the rectory at St. Joseph’s Church in Hyde Park for many years.
Pat was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed her time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, James F. Clifford, Jr. and Robin Ford of Fullerton, California, Michael J. Clifford and Eileen Lavallee of Scituate, Richard O. Clifford and Joyce of Walpole, Peter D. Clifford of Walpole, Patricia M. Walsh and Joe of Walpole and Kathleen Shuman and Jeff of Encinitas, California.
She is also survived by her sisters, Joan Doherty of Quincy and Barbara McMorrough of Rockland.
She was the sister of the late Frances Hanley and Richard O’Leary.
She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, June 10 from the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main St. in Walpole at 9:15 followed by a funeral Mass in Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in South Walpole.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
