Diane Motta, age 82, of Fall River, passed away June 5, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Manuel & Diamantina (Barboza) Motta. Prior to retiring, Diane worked as a Waitress at Mark You Restaurant for 46 years, and she was a long time parishioner of Holy Rosary Church.
Diane was the mother of Sandra Fitzsimmons (husband James) of Rehoboth; the sister of Dorothy Bouchard of Fall River, and the late Dolores Rapoza and the late Donata “Doris” Andrade; grandmother of Brooke Diane Welsch (husband Todd) of New York, NY; and the aunt to several nieces & nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. MAIN ST. FALL RIVER ON THURSDAY AT 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Rosary Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours WEDNESDAY 4-8 P.M.
