Eva S. (Sondick) Goldfarb, 88, of New Bedford, MA, formerly of Waterbury, CT, died Friday February 8, 2002 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford. She was the wife of the late Fred Goldfarb.
Born and educated in Hartford, Conn., Mrs. Goldfarb moved to Waterbury, Conn., after her marriage, where she resided for over 60 years.
A member of Beth El Synagogue, she enjoyed reading, knitting afghans, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Survivors include a son, Harvey Goldfarb and his wife Lily, of Marion, Mass., a daughter, Marilyn Beardsley and her husband Bill, of Marathon, Florida and East Sandwich, Mass.; 3 grandsons, Bruce, Brian and Jason; and 5 great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Lilly, William, Thomas and Tess. She was the sister of the late Samuel Sondick.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 11, 2002, at 1 PM in Zion Hill Cemetery, Hartford, Conn. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
