PAWTUCKET – Leonard J. Gallego Sr., husband of Judith Anne (Mitton) Gallego of Taunton, died at his home unexpectedly on June 1, 2011.
He was 61.
Born in Taunton, he was the son of Edward R. Gallego and the late Mary R. (Cardoza) Gallego.
He was educated in Taunton schools and was a graduate of Taunton High School.
Mr. Gallego was employed by Bonanza Bus Lines of Rhode Island for 22 years.
He enjoyed fishing, boating, and traveling.
Besides his wife and father he leaves a son, Leonard J. Gallego Jr. of Taunton; two brothers, Edward F. Gallego of Taunton, and Richard N. Gallego of Carver; a sister, Beverly A. Gallego of Taunton; a granddaughter, Victoria E. Gallego Baltimore of Wareham; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Wednesday June 8th at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Anthony’s Church at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday June 7th 5 – 8 p.m.
