
Margaret M. Pagliarulo, of Andover formerly of Medford passed away Saturday, June 4th following a brief illness from complications of ALS. She was 70 years of age. Margaret was the beloved wife of Charles P. Pagliarulo Sr. and together they shared 53 years of marriage. Born and raised in Medford she was the daughter of the late Timothy L. and Margaret (McCarthy) Dempsey.
Margaret was a 1958 graduate of Medford High School. She loved listening to music and for a number of years was a member of the St. Clement Church Choir. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to golf. Family was her primary focus in life. She enjoyed and cherished spending time with her children and especially enjoyed being with her loving grandchildren.
In addition to her late parents, Margaret is predeceased by her brothers, the late Tim and Leonard Dempsey.
Margaret is survived by her beloved husband Charles, and their devoted children, Michael Pagliarulo and his wife Karen of Winchester, Charles Pagliarulo Jr. and his wife Eileen of Medford, Lisa Freni and her husband Mark of Andover, and Charneen Pagliarulo of Wakefield. She was the loving grandmother of Michael, Erica, Charles III, and Monica Lee Pagliarulo, Jack, Alexa Jane and Drew Freni. She is also survived by her sisters, Ann Quill and Maureen Petrillo both of Medford, brothers, Thomas Dempsey of Melrose and Jack Dempsey of Lexington. She is further survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Wednesday, June 8th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4 thru 8. Interment services will be private. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Margaret’s memory to the Rig Foundation, c/o Liberty Bay Credit Union, 350 Granite St., suite 1102, Braintree, MA 02184-4999.
