Margaret "Anne" (Mitchell) McNamara
Loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend
TEWKSBURY: Margaret "Anne" (Mitchell) McNamara, age 68, a resident of Tewksbury for 43 years, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2011 at the Winchester Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of William P. "Bill" McNamara, with whom she celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on May 26, 2011.
Born in Boston on January 19, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Lillian (Cronan) Mitchell.
Anne was raised in Somerville, attended Somerville schools and graduated from Somerville High School in 1961.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a data clerk by the Epsilon Company of Burlington, where she worked for 18 years.
Anne will lovingly be remembered for her devotion and dedication to her family and grandchildren, and her enjoyment of the numerous family vacations to Disney World.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Kelly DiNapoli and her husband Michael of Tewksbury, William P. McNamara, Jr. of Waltham and Kristen L. Hyslop and her husband John of Tewksbury; three grandchildren, Michael and Kaitlyn DiNapoli and Addison Hyslop; also two great friends, Charles and Lucille Bernyk of Billerica.
Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday, June 7, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St. Tewksbury, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Following cremation, interment services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445.
