Northfield– Lynda (Jasinski) Miller, 49, died June 2, 2011 at the Merrimack Community Hospice House following a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born in Manchester on September 23, 1961 the daughter of Frederick M. and Judith (Kalisz) Jasinski Sr.
She graduated from Merrimack High School Class of 1979. She was the first recipient of the Merrimack High School Honor “M” Award, for scholastic and academic achievement. She earned varsity letters in both softball and basketball. She was also a graduate of Continental Hair Academy.
Prior to her illness she had been a waitress at Chili’s in Tilton.
She was a passionate Red Sox fan, and enjoyed all athletics.
Family members include her loving husband of seventeen years, Jeffrey P. Miller of Northfield, twins, son Seni A. Miller of Merrimack, and daughter, Breanna L. Miller of Northfield, her parents of Merrimack, two sisters, Debra Brown of Manchester, Diane Williams of Lagos, Nigeria, one brother, Frederick M. Jasinski Jr. of Manchester, and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
In Her Life: She also leaves a grandson, Brody Miller of Northfield. She was predeceased by a sister, Kathy Jasinski in 1978.
Services: Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM in St. Hedwig Church, corner of Beech and Orange Sts.
Burial will follow in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Bedford.
