Dartmouth – Delphina Piedade (Santos) Bettencourt, age 89, died Friday, June 3rd, 2011 at Brandonwoods of Dartmouth. She was being cared for by Maria Dubois of Dartmouth and Linda Mello of New Bedford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bettencourt was a daughter of Joao F. and Lucinda (Almeida) Santos. She was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident. Barbara worked as a Tire Inspector at Good Year Tire and Rubber for 42 years until she retired. Mrs. Bettencourt was a member of the Good Year Seniors
Mrs. Bettencourt‘s Religious Services will be Monday at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 9:30 A.M. with services beginning at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at South Dartmouth Cemetery. Visiting will be prior to the Services. Relatives and friends are invited
