Mary M.Gendron, 91, of Stirling Drive, Harmony, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at her home. She was the widow of Edward J. Gendron.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Francis C. and Mary A. (Hunt) McGair. She had been a resident of Harmony since 1966. Mrs. Gendron was a supervisor for the RI Department of Employment Security before retiring after almost 30 years.
She is survived by her sons, Edward Gendron and his wife, Sharon of Glocester and James Gendron of Warwick, her four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and her brother, Francis C. McGair of New Jersey. She was the sister of the late Bertha A. O’Hara and Cecilia V. Valois.
Funeral Saturday at 8:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation Friday 4-6pm.
