Jessie Richard Dyce, age 82 of Nashville, TN, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at his residence.
He was born September 10, 1928 in Nashville, TN, son of the late Luther Dyce and Georgia Elizabeth Graham Dyce. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Merony.
He was retired from the Nashville Bridge Company. He was a Mason 32nd Degree, and member of the Jerry Baxter Lodge #245, a Shriner, and a member of the Scottish Rites. Mr. Dyce was a member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church in Nashville, TN.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Easley Dyce, Nashville, TN; a son, John Easley, Cape Girardeau, MO; a daughter, Tina Mathis, Henrietta, TN; a brother, Walter Dyce, Clarksville, TN; a sister, Ethel Jackson, Henrietta, TN; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Rev. Pat Slaymaker officiating. Burial will be in Nanney Hollis Cemetery in Henrietta, TN.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, and a Masonic service will follow at 7 p.m.
Visitation will begin on Friday at 10 a.m., and continue until the hour of the service on Friday.
