Obituary

Salem: Doris M. Leboeuf, age 75 of Salem, died Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the Jewish Rehabilitation Center in Swampscott, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Rene Leboeuf and was the mother of the late Richard J. Leboeuf.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Malvina B. (Rousseau) Castonguay. Doris was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy Class of ’53.
She first worked as a waitress for the former Say Hi Restaurant and the former Beef and Oyster Restaurants. She later worked as secretary and bookkeeper for T.R. Kerr Co. of Salem and in the same capacity for her late brother’s business, Technical Specialties and Services Co.

Doris loved her family and devoted much of her time to her son, grand-daughter, siblings and her many friends. She was an avid professional bowler and loved crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and bingo. She was a member of the former St. Joseph Parish, as well as the Holy Family Sodality and the Child of Mary Society.

She is survived by her grand-daughter, Nicole M. Leboeuf of Lynn, 2 great-grandchildren, Tatyana Star Leboeuf and Enrique Johan Garcia, as well as six nieces and nephews, Gloria Jemery, Michael Castonguay, Ann Marie Castonguay, Paula Ward, Evelyn Rowe Lawson, and Mark Castonguay. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Roger, Leo, and Donald Castonguay, 3 sisters, Gloria I.,and Shirley B. Castonguay and Pauline Pied.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 8 a.m. to be followed by her funeral mass in Ste.
