Mary E. (Francesco) Hacker, 88, of Walpole died May 30 in the Charlwell House in Norwood. She was the wife of Rodman E. Hacker.
Born in Boston, October 22, 1922, the daughter of the late John and Anna (Meier) Francesco, Mrs. Hacker had lived in Walpole since 1946.
Mrs. Hacker had been a secretary for the Medfield Machine Company for many years.
She along with her husband was founding members of the South Norfolk County Association for Retarded Citizens Inc.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Paul F. Hacker of Norwood.
She was the sister of the late Madeline Francesco.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, June 3 in the Ginley Funeral Home 892 Main St. in Walpole at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Dover.
Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00-1:00.
