Mr. Enrico A. DiNardo, of Clearwater, FL formerly of Woburn passed away peacefully on May 26th, at the age of 74, following a lengthy illness. "Harry" as he was affectionately known was the beloved husband of Pauline (Gallagher) and together they shared 54 years of marriage. Born in Woburn on February 20, 1937 he was the son of the late Dominic and Josephine (Barile) DiNardo.
Harry was a 1954 graduate of Woburn High School and went on to further his education at the Lowell Technical Institute where he studied engineering. He worked for many years as engineer with the Loral Corporation in Chelmsford where he retired from in 1994. Prior to his employment at the Loral Corp. he worked for a number of years with the Sylvania Corp.
As a young man Harry enjoyed being outdoors playing ball and hunting with family and friends. Following his retirement he enjoyed taking daily walks and loved to work in his garden and yard on Lowell St. in Woburn. His greatest joys in life were his loving grandchildren. He cherished spending time with them and faithfully attended all of their school and sporting activities.
In addition to his beloved wife, Harry is survived by three children, David E. DiNardo of New Hampshire, Paul B. DiNardo and his wife Alison of Alabama, Whitney A. Ivancic and her husband Thomas of Amesbury, MA. He also survived by his loving grandchildren, Michael P. DiNardo, Anna Minkinow, Steven, Timothy, Valerie, Brian and Adam Ivancic. He is further survived by his sister, Anna DelGaudio of Medford, and brother, Carmen DiNardo and his wife Ethel of Woburn. He is preceded in death by his sister, the late Jessie Delle Donne.
A memorial mass for Harry will be celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St., Woburn, Friday, June 3rd, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Harry's memory to the Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.
