
Mary Margaret Bradshaw, 53, died Tuesday May 31, 2011, in Nashville, Tennessee where she was born and continued to reside. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home in Clarksville, Tennessee is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be at 10:30 am until 12:00 pm and Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Chapel in Clarksville. Memorial gifts may be made to the church in her name. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery immediately following the Mass.
Mary leaves behind a loving son, Michael Thomas Bradshaw. Mary was the third of five children. She is the daughter of Alvin Roy Batey and Margaret Foust Batey of Nashville.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Sarah and George Thomas Foust of Clarksville, Alvin Roy and Rhoda Batey of Clarksville, and aunt Mary Virginia Boesch of New Orleans.
Mary graduated from Father Ryan High School in 1976 and attended college at Middle Tennessee State University. Mary was employed by St. Thomas Hospital and Vanderbilt Pharmacy.
She lived a loving and caring life focusing on her Church, her family and son Michael Thomas Bradshaw.
Mourning her loss, but celebrating her life are brother Al R. Batey III; sisters Catherine A. (Kay) Batey, Claire E. Manley (Gordon), and Teresa Batey Abernathy (Chuck) and niece, Stephanie Christine Batey; nephews, Alvin Roy Batey IV, Thomas Alexander and Charles Andrew Abernathy of North Carolina and many cousins.
William Gregory Foust (Jean) of Akron and Betsy Batey Neal (Robert) and her family of Gallatin were special in the heart of Mary.
The family expresses their appreciation to her truly exceptional and loving caregivers at St. Thomas Hospital and physicians including Dr Robert Snyder, Dr. Deborah Beyer, Dr. Ronald Pruitt. Dr. John McRae and Dr. Gia Bi.
