Concetta (Infantino) Sabbio, a long time Medford resident, died Friday at Woodbriar Nursing Home. She was 92.
Mrs. Sabbio was born and raised in Boston’s North End, the daughter of the late Salvatore and the late Sebastiana (Lenarse) Infantino. Concetta lived much of her life in the North End and settled with her family, in Medford, over 40 years ago. She was a dedicated wife and mother who devoted herself to family.
She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo Sabbio. She was a devoted mother to Camille Piazza of Mashpee, Salvatore Sabbio of Lynn, Eugene Sabbio of Revere, Ann Gianci of Woodstock, NH, Marie Chagnon of Douglas, Francis Sabbio of Pelham, NH, and the late Frank Sabbio. She was a loving grandmother of 16 and great grandmother of 27. She was the sister of Paul Infantino of Winchester, and the late Lucy Sarno, Nano and John Infantino.
Friends may visit Monday 4 – 8 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, Medford, Tuesday at 9 AM with the Rev. Kevin G. Toomey, celebrant.
Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
