Salem: Catherine A. Barbrick age 52 of Salem, died Thursday, May 26, 2011, at the Beverly Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Leo J. and Catherine E. (Percy) Barbrick.
Born in Danvers and raised in Danvers and in Salem, she was a graduate of Salem High School. Cathy was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She loved her role as a mother and home maker. Her hobbies were crossword puzzles, reading and crocheting.
She is survived by her son Brian K. Barbrick of Salem, her daughter Margaret Marquez of Danvers, a brother, Steven P. Barbrick and his wife Susan of Merrimac, a sister Emily E. Brooks and her husband Robert of Peabody, 5 grandchildren, Marissa, Isiah, Mikayla, Syrus and Antonio as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Michael J. Barbrick.
Relatives and friends are invited to her service on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. in the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem, preceded by a period of visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m..
