New Bedford - Alma F. "Fran" (Kenyon) Mastera, 74, of N. Dartmouth passed away after a long illness on May 27, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of John C. Mastera.
Mrs. Mastera was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Harvey H. and Nellie F. (Harrington) Kenyon, and resided in the greater New Bedford area all of her life. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, New Bedford. She enjoyed knitting, bingo and gambling.
In addition to her widower, she is survived by 3 daughters: Darleen S. Mastera of Dartmouth, Sharon L. Mastera of Dartmouth and Jodi A. Boulds of Acushnet; a son: Lawrence W. Mastera of Dartmouth; a brother: Walter O. Kenyon of New Bedford; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
She was sister of the late Rosemarie Boardman, Margery M. Dutra and Harvey H. Kenyon.

Visiting hours at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford on Friday, June 3, 2011, 10:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. followed immediately by a memorial service at 12:30 P.M.

Interment in Acushnet Cemetery, Acushnet.
