Jean T. Gilmartin, of Windham, NH, died Friday at her sister’s Tewksbury home, after a brief illness. She was 56.
Jean was born and raised in Cambridge, the daughter of the late William and the Kathleen (Meehan) Gilmartin. She worked many years as a computer programmer with Hartford Re.
She is survived by her loving companion of 14 years, Albert Levoy of, Windham, NH. She was the sister of John Gilmartin of Somerville, William Gilmartin of Burlington, Ellen Gilmartin of Wilmington, Joan Ballard of Medford, Alice Richey of Silver Springs, MD, Mary Gilmartin of Providence, RI, Carol Boyle of Providence, RI, Patricia Casiello of Tewksbury, Diane McMullen of Nashua, NH, Richard Gilmartin, of FL and Susan Craig of Medford. She also leaves 15 loving nieces and nephews and 6 loving great nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives may visit Monday 4 - 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Paul Church, Cambridge, Tuesday at 10 AM.
Burial will follow at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
