Roy Jackson “Jack” McDonald, 72, of Burkburnett, TX (formerly of Fitzgerald) died Sunday, May 22, 2011 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery with Gary Tipton officiating. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M., Saturday, June 11, 2011 at The Church of Unity, 145 Mayes St., Fitzgerald, GA.
Born March 5, 1939 in Fitzgerald to the late Joe and Gladys Meaker McDonald, Jack lived most of his life in Texas from Fitzgerald. He was a retired welder after 35 years from Burgess Industries.
Jack is survived by his wife: Patsie McDonald, Burkburnett, TX; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law: Mike McDonald, Burkburnett, TX and Jody & Tina McDonald, Azle, TX; 4 daughters: Jackie McDonald, Sandy McDonald, Lisa McDonald and Patricia McDonald; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law: Robert & Betty McDonald, Doerun, Arthur & Teri McDonald and Guy & Bonnie McDonald, all of Fitzgerald; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law: Betty Dee Wilson, Douglasville and Mary & Jerry Griffin, Ocilla; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well several nieces and nephews.
