BONJA, Clara D. (nee Veith), age 95 of Emerson, NJ, formerly of Staten Island, NY, passed away on May 27, 2011.
Beloved wife of the late Albert Bonja. Devoted mother of Robert Bonja and his wife Carol, Barbara Erben and her husband Carl. Dear sister of Marie Bellezza and Margaret Wicks. Loving grandmother of Laurie Bonja, Beth Erben, Daniel Erben and his wife Patricia, Jeffrey Bonja and his wife Colleen, Debora Burke and her husband Gregg. Cherished great grandmother of Daniel, Caitlin, Kevin, Ryan, Claire, Celia and Faye.
Clara worked as a Bond Manager, for many years, at Morgan Guarantee Trust in New York City.
Friends and family are invited for visitation this Memorial Day, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell, NJ. A funeral service will begin at 9 AM at the funeral home on Tuesday and then to St. Joseph’s RCC, Oradell, NJ for a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial.
