Clara Cook "Tissue" Prickett, 59, of Irwin County, Georgia died Thursday, May 26, 2011, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M., Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sumter County with Rev. William Hall officiating.
Mrs. Prickett was born February 26, 1952 in Dawson, Georgia to Dorothy Harrison Cook and the late John Cook. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband: John Prickett of Irwin County; son: John Wiley Delk of Walterboro, SC; daughter: Tammy Dodd of Douglas; 7 grandchildren; mother: Dorothy Cook of Summerville, SC; sisters: Janie Vetter of Wilmington, NC, Patricia Crawford of Walterboro, SC and Faye Flemming of North Charleston, SC; brothers: Charles Cook of Walterboro SC and John Cook of North Carolina. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Malcolm Cook.
