TEWKSBURY - Linda J. (DeRoche) Weber, 53, a former officer for the New England PaintHorse Association, died Friday evening, Jan. 30, at her home, surrounded by her family, after alengthy illness. She was the wife of Thomas W. Weber, with whom she would have celebrated a33rd wedding anniversary on May 22nd.
She was born in Boston, Feb. 26, 1950, a daughter of Abel and Ellen Mary (Bruning) DeRoche ofCarver Mass. She was raised in West Medford, and was graduated from Medford High School. She had lived in Tewksbury since 1972.
She was employed as a credit manager for Converse in North Reading. She had also worked atStride Rite in Lexington.
She was a long time member of the N.E. Paint Horse Assn., and a member of St. William’s Parishin Tewksbury.
Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by a son, Keith W. Weber and his partner DavidHanks of Concord, NH; a daughter, Tammy E. and her husband Craig Smith of Pepperell; agrandson, Jacob Smith; two sisters, Denise and her husband Roger Tanguay of Tewksbury, Bettyand her husband Joseph Crump of Medway, MA; a brother, Ronald and his wife Diane(Thompson) DeRoche of Melrose; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, Feb. 3, in St. William’s Church. Interment was in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
