John R. Golding, 50, of Franklin and formerly of Newton, died, Friday, May 20, 2011 in Newton.
Born in Newton on July 20, 1960, he was a son of the late Lewis L. and Gladys (Arnold) Golding.
Mr. Golding was a carpenter and painter for many years.
He loved music and his guitar, gardening and the outdoors.
He is survived by his son Evan Golding of Framingham, six brothers, Charles, Peter, Lewis Jr., Paul, James Sr. and his twin-brother Thomas, three sisters, Mary Murphy, Carol Murphy and Allison Sparhawk and many many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Shirley Demaio.
Funeral services will be private and are under the care of the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin.
